The word FÜÜR means "FIRE" in Swiss dialect and comes from the German word "FEUER." A powerful word that strongly relates to the origin of our brand and the essence of those who belong to FÜÜR.

We founded FÜÜR believing that materials deserve a second life to be sustainable, functional, and beautiful. FÜÜR designs, produces, and sells functional design objects from materials in their second life that meet the expectations of architects, designers, and conscious consumers, ensuring environmental and safety standards for the future.

Füür is essentially a place where design, craftsmanship, and a careful selection of residual materials with great potential for redefinition are put together to create new objects.

The products are manufactured in Spain because it is where the best leather craftsmen are found, along with Italy, meeting high quality and traceability standards. We also believe that producing locally is a way to positively impact carbon footprint reduction. Products are directly shipped from the workshop to the buyer's address. We don't have middlemen.

Soon, we'll be in Barcelona in the EIXAMPLE neighbourhood.

SOLIDARITY: We work to build a fairer and more equitable society with concrete actions to ease the difficulties and needs of those in vulnerable situations, donating part of our profits to the NGO TILO VEREIN, which cooperates with various NGOs working for vulnerable children in Argentina in a collaborative dynamics among communities.

RESPONSIBILITY AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND PEOPLE: It involves making conscious and responsible decisions in our daily lives, choosing sustainable and planet-friendly practices. We take charge of waste by giving it a second life, turning it into functional and design objects. We promote material reuse, thus reducing waste and avoiding excessive consumption of natural resources. Production waste is sent to specialized Spanish companies for recycling these materials. All resources involved in production, from raw materials to craft workshops, are within a close radio to minimize environmental impact. This is called local production.  

TRACEABILITY: Our production chain is reliable and transparent. Every part of it is observed and taken into account to ensure not only that the final products reach the customer perfectly but also that environmental and human protection is considered throughout the production processes, as we want in a circular economy. To guarantee this, we are working on international certifications that provide security in achieving our objectives.

We commit to reducing our carbon footprint in different ways. To offset our carbon emissions from travels, short trips, and non-renewable energy consumption, we help BAUM FDA in reforesting Algarrobo woods in the province of Córdoba, Argentina.

We recover materials in disuse and repurpose them.

In the GUMMI LINE, which started the company, we RECOVER out of-service firefighter hoses from Switzerland, Spain, and soon France, made with very high quality, strength, and safety standards. We REUSE the materials and transform them into design objects, avoiding their incineration. Even though their burning is filtered, they have the potential to emit toxins into the environment, including yet-to be-identified dioxins and furans, heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, and mercury, among others.

For our armchairs, we choose responsibly cultivated wood. These woods are chosen for their characteristics, ensuring a long life, as well as the quality, material, and usefulness of the hardware in pet accessories, specifically designed to endure moisture and strong traction.

In the GUMMI LINE, the carpet production system is controlled and on request. They offer great versatility and resistance due to their material and being handwoven. Because of these characteristics they can be made in large sizes.

Due to limited raw material (recovered firefighter hoses), some colors might not be available. When placing an order, consult with the design team.

The designs result from work together between FÜÜR and valuable industrial design studios in Spain with international recognition, such as the one owned by Designer Sebastián Alberdi in Barcelona, co-founder of the Outofstock design collective.

At FÜÜR, we donate part of our profits through TILO VEREIN, which raises funds and cooperates with various NGOs in Argentina working for vulnerable children in a collaborative dynamic among communities.

We establish long-term commitments with workers, recognizing and respecting their work with fair and consistent payment over time, enabling new opportunities for a better future and dignified and safe working conditions. We are working to internationally certify our work with ECOLABEL, guaranteeing our work.

specially made for the client, and all our products are “handmade”.

The fire hoses are transported in trucks from Switzerland to Spain. Every transport, whether of the hoses or the members of the FÜÜR team, is offset with native tree planting in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, by BAUM FDA.

GUMMI Line

The materials we use for FÜÜR products are highly resistant to abrasion, temperature changes, exposure to weather, etc. Due to their thermal and moisture insulation, there's no need to move them, making them very suitable for outdoor spaces like terraces and gardens. The woods in the armchairs are specifically chosen to withstand outdoor conditions. For these reasons, care doesn't need to be special or different from any other wood outdoor product.

Low maintenance and repair costs are attributed to the high-quality construction of these products.

Cleaning is straightforward: Washable with soap and water without special care.

ECO-FRIENDLY AND HOMEMADE CLEANING PRODUCT RECIPE BOOK

The color palette comes from the color of reused materials. In the case of carpets and armchairs made from Swiss hoses, available colors are green, red, and stone. In the case of pet accessories, they come in yellow (hoses from Barcelona) and red (hoses from France). We aim for a durable and timeless product, avoiding seasonal collections and aligning with the Circular Economy principle of consuming only when necessary.

Naturally, products might show color variations due to previous use of these materials, which have been repurposed and might display wear from their previous use.

They are made of high-resistance material for demanding uses and  prepared for indoor and outdoor use.

As they are made from fire-fighting hoses with high safety and quality standards that the fire brigades of Switzerland, Spain, and soon France require, quality is guaranteed. Their resistance to temperature changes, material that doesn't need to be moved, thermal and moisture insulation, and ease of cleaning make FÜÜR carpets and armchairs very suitable for terraces and gardens.

Our prices consider the design and production costs involved, including the treatment of the water with which the hoses are washed before manufacturing the product. We provide fair prices, ensuring well-paid wages for our craftsmen and material that will grant long life to your product, making it easily accessible to anyone who wants to acquire them.

The Customs charges are at the buyer’s expense. 

Under request carpets will be processed within 10 business days, once the payment is made. Your product will be manufactured within an average of 10 business days. After that time, we will inform you of the shipping date, expecting delivery to your address within an average of 10 business days after the shipping date.

For armchairs and pet accessories, the delivery to the courier will be made on the next business day. The estimated time in transit to your address is an average of 10 business days.

Yes. Our products have a 1-year warranty under normal use conditions.

Products might show color variations due to previous use of these materials, which have been repurposed and might display wear from their previous functionality. This isn't a reason for return, refund, or exchange. We appreciate your understanding and assure you that this is part of the unique and sustainable character of our products, resulting from their history as recycled material.

Returns: Our policy is within 30 days of purchase. To return the product, it must be unused and in the same condition as received. It must also be in the original packaging. Customized products cannot be returned or exchanged unless they have a defect. For the return, we need the order number, receipt, or proof of purchase.

Refunds: (if applicable)

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. A restocking fee may apply, which will be deducted from the final refund. If your refund is approved, it will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original payment method used when placing the original order.

The customer will be responsible for shipping costs and customs charges for returning the product. These expenses are non-refundable. When returning an item, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we'll receive your returned item. Any item not received at our workshop cannot be refunded or exchanged.
