BIOFRIENDLY AND HOMEMADE CLEANING PRODUCT RECIPE BOOK
These are the four basic products you need: lemon juice, vinegar, Marseille soap (or white soap), and baking soda.
These environmentally friendly products are biodegradable and cruelty-free.
PROPERTIES OF INGREDIENTS
01. LEMON JUICE
Natural cleaner, degreaser, antibacterial, stain remover, and disinfectant.
02. VINEGAR
Removes limescale, degreases, disinfects, and whitens. Cleaning vinegar is more acidic and effective than regular white vinegar.
03. ECO-FRIENDLY MARSEILLESOAP
Made with 72% olive oil, no perfumes, colorants, or preservatives. Multipurpose cleaner and mild laundry detergent.
04. BAKING SODA
Soluble, deodorizing, and descaling. Essential for eco-friendly, minimalist cleaning.
FÜÜR PRODUCT RECIPES
1. TRADITIONAL ALL-PURPOSE CLEANER
- 200 ml. water
- 300 ml. white cleaning vinegar
- Baking soda
MODE OF USE : Mix water and vinegar in a spray bottle, shake, scrub surface with baking soda and water, spray cleaner, scrub, rinse, and dry. Let sit for 20 minutes for tough dirt.
2. CITRUS VINEGAR CLEANER FOR MINERAL RESIDUES
- Citrus peels
- Aromatic herbs
- White cleaning vinegar
MODE OF USE: Steep peels in vinegar for 2-3 weeks, strain, and use.
3. MULTIPURPOSE CLEANER WITH CITRUS VINEGAR
- 200 ml. filtered water
- 300 ml. citrus vinegar
- Baking soda
MODE OF USE : Mix water and vinegar in a spray bottle, shake, scrub surface with baking soda and water, spray cleaner, scrub, rinse, and dry. Let sit for 20 minutes for tough dirt.
4. DESGRASER FOR ORGANIC RESIDUES
- 170 ml. hot water
- 30 gr. natural soap
- 300 ml. white cleaning vinegar
- Juice of half a lemon
- Salt
- Baking soda
MODE OF USE : Dissolve soap in hot water, cool, add vinegar and lemon juice, pour into spray bottle, shake, scrub surface with baking soda, salt, and water, spray cleaner, scrub, rinse, and dry. Let sit for 20 minutes for tough dirt.
5. WOOD FURNITURE CLEANER
- 350 ml. water
- 140 ml. cleaning vinegar
- 10 ml. olive oil
MODE OF USE : Mix ingredients in a spray bottle, shake, spray on wood, rinse, and dry.
EXTRA ECO-FRIENDLY CLEANING RECIPES
1. LEMON SCENTED VINEGAR CLEANER
- 500 ml. white or apple cider vinegar
- 4-6 lemon peels
MODE OF USE : Steep peels in vinegar for a month, pour into spray bottle. Use on glass, tiles, and as a fabric softener (avoid marble).
2. ECO-FRIENDLY POWDER DETERGENT
- 200 gr. Marseille soap flakes
- 75 gr. baking soda
MODE OF USE: Mix ingredients, store in a jar. Use two tablespoons per laundry load.
3. ECO-FRIENDLY PIPE CLEANER
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup white or apple cider vinegar
- Hot water
MODE OF USE : Pour baking soda then vinegar down drain, let sit for 15-30 minutes, flush with hot water. Repeat if necessary.
